This reminded me of an email exchange I have been having with an “environmental” reporter in Tucson, AZ. I have been encouraging him to cover the story and provided him the link to the searchable database, some specific emails that show that Professor Jonathan Overpeck with the U of A has been involved with Mann, Phil Jones, etc since at least 1998. Here is his latest response to me,

Could you please send me a phone number or email for Dr. Ball? I would like to interview him about Overpeck in general and about the Medieval Warming Period in particular.

What an incompetent A$$, you mean to tell me a “real” reporter can’t get the contact information for Dr. Ball, but requests it from me, a “citizen journalist?”
Well,...clearly all of his time is taken up with perusing the latest propaganda releases from the Associated Press...in the subject area.
Does he actually try to write his own stuff?
Tony is busy covering for his “buddies” at U of A, from his article that was finally in the AZ Daily Star, this week,
“Hughes and others, however, say that while the e-mails clearly look bad, the critics have taken their meanings out of context.
One of the most prominent scientists who wrote some of the controversial e-mails, Michael Mann of Penn State University, has for a decade worked closely with the UA’s Hughes, on papers that have been at the center of scientific debate over global warming.
Dozens of e-mails sent and received by Hughes are among those leaked from the stolen batch of messages. The Star is sifting through them and so far has found none he wrote that resembled the controversial e-mails in tone or substance. However, Hughes did receive at least one controversial e-mail from a scientist at the center of the storm.”
I sent Tony the link shortly after the story broke, along with the Overpeck connection. Tony tried to minimize Overpeck’s involvement in the scandal, even though his name comes up something like 96 times when you search for him, in his correspondence with me. Instead he chose to write about Hughes who is only involved in “dozens” of the emails.
I wouldn’t trust Tony to accurately report this story even if it snowed in Phoenix tomorrow...

I have to agree with you, MSM must have tipping point, Americans are awakening.
