Fascinating, but my comment had nothing to do with Sarah Palin.
It concerned an uppity n00b mouthing off to long-timers.
Screw old timers that have nothing to cling to but a sign up date, it doesn’t get much lamer.

How you manage to translate this into an anti-Palin sentiment is quite beyond me.
There was so much Romney Propaganda here for past three or so years, that it was becoming hard to read anything other than the archeology and science articles. And I'm sure that among the long term lukers there must be thousands upon thousands of others who were also disgusted & repulsed by the mittites, the mittbots, the mittwhits, and other afficianados of mittens.

He is one of us here at FR (now) and he says that he knew who she was before 2008 (as many of us did).
They were shocked that anybody actually took a stand against a RINO.
And it is shocking... as RINOs seem to have alot of control both online, and in the media, ya know?

“True conservatives” cannot accept that moderate Republicans exist. In fact many of your moderates also hold some conservative views, but this is too complex for the “everything must be black-and-white” and in simplistic terms crowd. Simple thinking is what got Obama elected.
The infighting among Republicans, conservative vs. moderates, is nothing new. It’s a bloody life-and-death struggle that allows democrats to remain in power.
For myself I look at our current scene as American vs. anti-American. I’m on the side of America and so is Mitt Romney. I have no idea what his political ambitions are at this time, but the gratuitous attacks on him look like pure bullying to me and, in fact, make him look more attractive.
