Brrrrr.......!!! Does it snow in your area? It gets cold here too, even though it's "Sunny California", but no snow, except once in maybe seven years or so, we will get a dusting.
Last year we got a beautiful pre-lit tree from Lowe's and it was SO nice not having to deal with tangled up lights. I will be decorating our tree sometime this weekend. I am actually looking forward to it this year!

My daughter fixed rose bouquets yesterday for me.

Oh, my goodness....it does snow in your neighborhood!
The only time it gets cold enough to snow here is when the skies are clear. As soon as it starts to cloud up, it warms up and our precipitation comes down as rain....or we get that nasty, deadly tule fog. :-(

I cannot believe how close we were to putting her down!!!!! Makes me shutter to think of it.Oh, no! I am so thankful you didn't! We came close to putting Chachi down, too, a couple years ago when he had severe back problems and his back legs were paralyzed. We decided to have surgery for him and his back is now perfectly healed and he can run and play again. If we can just get his colitis under control, he will be a happy, healthy little boy.
God bless your Shallie and keep her healthy and happy! Our fur-babies mean everything to us.
