FSU owes everything to Bowden, before him FSU was nothing. Bowden made that program what it is, and what it will be in the future. In all seriousness as a Gator alum, I tip my hat to Bobby, a most classy adversary, and a solid Christian by all accounts. And he deserves to go out on his own terms, he’s earned it!
Is he that guy who looks like an adult Eddie Munster?
The Spurrier/Bowden battles were legendary.
As Hurricane alum .. I’ll say this about BB.
When Miami was stomping Notre Dame, The Gators and FSU, year after year, Notre Dame and The Gators (Spurrier)refused to play Miami anymore but BB continued!
BB’s famous quote at that time was .. “They’ll put on my headstone” .. “At Least I Played Miami”!
So?!
You're saying the ten of millions of dollars that attendees and the networks pay into the sports programs should be TAXED?! Yeah. THAT'S the problem. Not enough taxes are being paid in this Country! Sheesh!
The monies from the taxpayers and the aforementioned go BACK INTO THE GENERAL FUND! So that leaves FEWER tax dollars that have to be applied to the University!
So .. we've found a Freeper who actually thinks that MORE taxes is good. Even on a University.
Yes. lol
Go Gators!
People forget that until about 1950 Florida State was a woman's college. Since then, Bowden has been the coach over half of the time.
