Most people know what narcotic addiction is. Maybe a dictionary would help you.
People just want the high they had while on the drug or that need it or the will go into withdrawal symptoms

I had gallbladder attacks — wowie! that was some pain! And even years after surgery that whole digestive area can still cause trouble due to stones forming in bile ducts or liver! I hear it is akin to kidney stone pain, which is really severe — “one of the worst pains” per physicians.
As for shingles, yep, had that too — more recently — almost three years ago now. Had a BAD case, suffered a lot for months — and now to this day I have post-herpetic neuralgia. Some people take Vicodin forever due to this unrelenting discomfort.
I have the ‘itch,’ not pain — so I scratch, and scratch and scratch. Sometimes I break the skin so that must heal. It’s an unbelievable scourage, this shingles. Everyone who is 60 and had chicken pox earlier on should run to get the vaccine to hopefully get some protection. I got the vaccine to try to prevent recurrence as this happens too.
These days I am not always in agony, but this is not likely to ever totally disappear. I take nothing for it anymore, dumping the Vicodin after a few months and forget Lyrica — blew up like a balloon on that one. People with the actual pain do usually need drugs — I can understand why they often get addicted. My best to you with your situation.

I’m not so sure — I knew a guy years ago who had kids the ages of Woods’ kids. The guy had a gorgeous wife but he always cheated. Being married really wasn’t for him, he admitted after a few years. He was a player who liked variety but he did love his kids and was very attentive.
His wife suspected something but instead of smacking him around she got a lawyer and accountant and took him to the cleaners. He had money, not like Tiger, but he was doing very well. Wife kept the mansion et al, and the kids, but he saw them religiously several times per week.
He always said he saw cheating as ‘just a little nookie’ and he totally separated the affairs from the family. Men compartmentalize much better than women do in that regard. I have seen this dynamic multiple times over my many years.
My pain went away after several months so I am OK
BUT my 83 year old sister in law has had pain for over 3 years now and can’t take pain killers as she becomes loopy
Sad after having 9 kids you would think you could spend your final years better than being in constant pain
They implanted a spinal stimulator that is supposed to work 2 weeks ago and my brother says it seems to have at least alleviated her pain —I hope it gets better as they adjust the electronics

The guy I referenced is not married that I know of. He does have a live in girlfriend though, so you never know. But he will cheat again and again. He is repeating his own father’s performance as a lousy boyfriend/husband.
The father was a big cheater, too, and only finally settled down in his sixties, marrying and being faithful to a nice lady. His reward for all of this was developing Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) and dying a nasty death within two years.
Tiger, I don't even know if that's your real name. Do you have any comprehension of what your selfish actions have set in motion? You have two children. They are flesh of YOUR flesh. They are in YOUR charge to learn how to be real persons. You have a wife who jointly created those two children with you. They deserve more than what money can buy...as any child and any family does.
YOU ARE THEIR FATHER.You are her HUSBAND. It is YOUR SOLEMN DUTY (and privilege) to be the head of a household.
