Bill Hinsche went on to be a long time side musician in the Beach Boys backing band. In fact, his sister Annie was once married to the late Carl Wilson.
I knew that about Billy Hinsche. And I still think Dino, Desi, and Billy were a so-so proposition. They weren't the worst such proposition I've ever heard . . .

I agree. Just informing those who have no idea who the “Billy” of Dino Desi and Billy was.

Mine, too. I am still a George Harrison fan. He wrote some tremendous songs. His son’s music is really good. I just got it on my zune. I also like the fact that the band’s name is a play on “The Prisoner.”

What’s really sad is I just realized those songs were not by Dino, Desi and Billy. They were by Gary Lewis and the Playboys. Even if I can’t remember who sang them I still remember all the lyrics.
