Its obvious...
he sleeps in a cave...
We are going semi-Galt until we can go full Galt.
We are eliminating one of our utilities (gas) and soon we are going to drop our Sat TV.(contract expires in Feb.) We are going with the Internet Only. No LandLine just cell phones.
The wife lucked into a nice job, full medical benefits (including dental for the whole family for 200 Bucks a month) and a nice 401K (vested in a Money Market) We are keeping the business open till my father wishes to stop but we are not hiring and not expanding.
All our real estate is paid in full in Aug. and we have a few long term debts we could pay off but the interest rate is so low we would lose money if we paid them off being we are getting almost 3 times the interest on the CDs we would need to cash in to pay the debts off.
We are not buying new stuff unless it is an absolute necessity. Recently I bought a 4 year old Electric furnace to replace our gas model. It cost me a Franklin and it runs great.
We are close to getting our monthly expenses to under 1K. (once the last real estate loan is paid off.) We are not feeding the beast any more than absolutely necessary.
LOL ...I see *love light* in her eyes!
