From watching my own daughter, I will tell you that she learned more about hard work, team work, hanging in when things aren’t going your way, and having fun playing softball than I could have ever taught her at home. Character is developed and sports can certainly help with that.
They use it in tournaments to ‘level the playing field’ between teams. Basically, teams are allowed a certain number of home runs in a game. Anything over that number is an automatic out. Yes, PC has come to slow pitch softball.
