He didn’t say his name, period.
And he did talk about the roles of people before the wall came down and not just at the actual time.
Tell me where in this video the word Reagan was uttered from his tortured bitter lips?
Try again.

"
If it wasnt for Reagan, Bush 41 and 43 would be unknowns." Likely true.
Biggest injustice of the Reagan Admin was the failure to put Bush Sr. in a pine box for long term storage.

“Gave lots of credit to others, but there was a stark omission of Reagan.”
Initially I was bothered by this.
I have to admit my personal expectation was to hear him give praise,
honor and glory to the triumvirate:
Reagan, Thatcher, and John Paul II.
But reflecting on the interview...it did seem to be more about the
“end game” and how the actors on the scene at that time didn’t
“screw up” the terrain as prepared by Reagan, Thatcher and JP II.
But I must admit as a person that is old enough to remember the
building of “The Wall”...and young enough to be around for the fall
of The Berlin Wall...
I was at first bothered not to hear a mention of Reagan.
Call me too kind, but I chalk it up to the format and actual questions
of the interview...plus Papa Bush did enough heavy lifting to keep
us out of nuclear war at a crucial juncture.
(and yes, I don’t agree with all of Papa Bush’s actions, especially
folding on the “no new taxes” pledge and some other mis-steps)

I don’t buy it, look at him pause and think, hesitate and phrase.
It was purposeful, he is a bitter bitter man.

Oh, by the way, this isn’t the first time he has pulled this stunt before.
He has done these at least three times before.
After the last time he was thumped for this, I am surprised he did it again.
I bet there are threads still on FreeRepublic from the last time he did it.

Everybody knows that Reagan said, “Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall.” Maybe Gorby didn't tear it down but allowed enthusiastic Berliners do it for him.

Blue-bloods are usually bad for America.
Reagan was forced to take him.

Nov 1984 was my first presidential election and that day when I voted, I was so happy and proud to vote for Reagan. The rest of them, I held my nose especially voting for Bush Sr and Jr. I don't want to see anymore of the Bush's in the White House. No Jeb or any other. They are part of the old East Coast Elitist Country Club set. I remembered when Bush Sr. was called a wimp. In the Primary in 1988, I voted for Dole.
Reagan had a core. Reagan had beliefs and principles. Voting for him in 1984 was my proudest moment ever in electoral politics.

Daddy bush is a globalist. That is why he did not ring true with the American people and why he hated Reagan. It is why his sort hate Palin. Reagan was an American-American and did not do as he was told by the globalists. Palin won’t obey either.

Naming Bush to VP was Reagan's first decision and his worst mistake. We're still paying for that mistake. That's very true. Reagan also let Bush and the other liberals like Baker, have too much power in his administration and in the party.
The Bush (Rockefeller) Republicans are in charge of the party and will fight like hell to keep us from getting another Reagan in office.

"What exactly did he not say so strongly?"
Well, I saw it. It was an interview about the Wall coming down. My impression was Bush was rewriting history. I tuned in to hear Bush say something to make me like him, seriously...maybe offer some criticism of what's going on today. But no. There are two people you think of when you talk of the Wall going down: Gorbechev and Reagan. Reagan's name never came up. If you knew nothing about history, and obviously many people do not, you would think George Bush brought down that wall. He kept talking about his involvement and what "we" did. Unbelievable. The Bushes need to go away and never come back.
