When does the text input start slowing down?after the PC has been running for a while or after it’s first turned on?

I don’t think you have a keyboard problem persay.It seems like you have something running in the background that’s jogging your memory or CPU cycles.

I would also check to see that the PC’s cooling system is operating right.you wouldn’t believe the amount of dust that can get sucked into a PC.An overheated PC will start to act squirrly as well.

Last but Not the least check to see what programs are running in the background.If those programs are taking a high percentage of memory or system cycles shut them down temporarily and see how things operate.
