“she backed the stimulus, she votes for a lot of the liberal agenda.. her hubby is a state afl-cio biggy. why the charade...”
The Oldest Con in the world...is Good Cop-Bad Cop....its how the Oligarchy maintains control....
She’s the Oligarch’s candidate. they know a Dem labeled candidate can’t win this one...so Presto!!!
From your lips to conservative ears...
They both know the gig is up and they need to tell us the truth that the entitlements are broke, the dollar is worthless and unless their is massive Gov't restructuring we will be Bolivia in the 80's.
But they are both in denial....
The GOP'ers like their bennies such as their medical, pensions, and club sandwiches that they get from "Crissy" when they go on....
Cut their pay, and no pensions until 5 yrs served follow ERISA like the rest of us for starters...
So this process gives the voter a Liberal Republican, a Liberal Democrat and a Third Party Conservative to choose from.
So if there were a Conservative Republican and a Third Party Conservative running against a Liberal Democrat, the chances of the Democrat getting elected seem greater.
Is this a wise way to go? ...for New York state, other states and federal elections?
The object of the conservative political strategy has to be to beat the communists. Therefore, we have to be mindful in picking and choosing. When the Rinos put a socialist, we need to vote conservative third party; when we have a conservative Republican, we need to vote them into power.
It could go one of two ways for the GOP - either they stop putting up socialists or they are guarenteed to lose elections. If they do it too much, a third party will end up with more in power than the GOP.
I just donated, made me feel better, plus I hope it makes all the Rino’s mad.
I believe they get pensions after five years now. I think they shouldn’t get a pension until they serve 20 years.
Always reminds me of Ross Perot: “We need to elect people who go to serve instead of to cash in.” I see no one like that in office today from either party,.
I have posted this repeatedly.

The first step in a conservative revolution to clean up the GOP is for the grass roots (the TEA partiers, 9-12ers and other grass roots conservative groups) to get actively involved in the GOP. This involves both finding and fielding candidates in the primaries (for 2010, the deadlines are fast approaching for the primaries), as well as getting involved in the party machinery as precinct captains, and on county committees.
We can’t let the DIABLO and RINO enablers pick our candidates. That is what the grass roots should be doing.
Getting conservatives into the primaries should be the first step. Selecting the best conservative during the primaries should be the next important step.
There are some districts where the district has a conservative history and the Democrats have weak opposition where a conservative third party candidate stands a good chance if the primaries fail to produce a conservative Republican for the General election. NY23 today is an example of that. But these general election battles should be chosen very carefully, with a play to win attitude.
There, I fixed it for you.

Actually, I believe that Congressional Representatives and Senators should be employees of the states they represent, with compensation and benefits set by their state legislatures. That keeps them from voting themselves raises. I would strongly support term limits, along with the state compensation clarification as a constitutional amendment:
Thanks to all who have supported Hoffman. I to have donated what I can. I have also made a small contribution to Harmer in the CA 10th race. See the links in my sig about that.
Article of amendment
Section 1
No person who has served as a Senator for more than nine years, or as a Representative for more than eleven years, shall be eligible for election or appointment to the Senate or the House of Representatives respectively, excluding any time served prior to the enactment of this Article.
Section 2
Representatives and Senators shall be employees of the State that they represent. Their compensation, salaries and benefits shall be set by the legislature of their state. Representatives and Senators shall be subject to all state laws that apply to elected officials in the state they represent.
Section 3
Congress shall make no law establishing any compensation or benefits for Representatives or Senators. Any such law in effect when this amendment is ratified shall be null and void after the 31st day of December of the year of ratification.
Has everyone seen this: “The Most Important Number in Politics Today.”
Doug Hoffman is the Conservative alternative in this race (or Hoffman by PayPal).
Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.
Scozzafava also holds these positions:
Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.
This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat. Mark Steyn has coined the term DIABLO for her and others like her. Democrat In All But Label Only.
There are also at least 17 unprincipled DIABLO enablers in the house who have donated funds or otherwise supported to this LibeRal democRat's DIABLO’s campaign. They include Boehner, Cantor, Sessions, Hensarling, Brown-Waite and McCotter. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These unprincipled enablers should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year.
Also, perhaps those of us who donated to the RNC or RCCC should ask for our money back so we can support the conservative candidates of our choice.

Candidates I support: Doug Hoffman for Congress, NY 23rd (PayPal), David Harmer for Congress, CA 10th. Please, spread the word about these important special elections on November 3, 209: New York’s 23rd congressional district and California’s 10th congressional district. |
