How exciting! So far, my accidental timing has been near perfect. :) This afternoon, tiring of political talk I turned on the Olympics and, wow, it was the last 3 minutes of the hockey game and the USA was leading 6-1.

I know I’m late to the party but you ought to be in B.C. this year - uh we haven’t had ANY winter. Two to three small snowfalls. They actually had to import snow for the Olympics. How you do that is beyond me when it’s 10 above during the day and just below freezing at night!! This has been bizarre but then again, I fail to see why they would ever choose to send the Olympics to the rain forest. Vancouver is on the sea coast - it’s usually permanently wet during winter and if they do get snow it’s wet! They should have had it in Kelowna. Our mountains at least have lots and lots of snow. Oh well. I guess it’s the Ice Olympics!! CO
