He must be one very busy boy.
Or very confused...
I don’t see what the problem is with the girl in the article, she only has 1 cat. I used to have 2, now I just have 1 and she is plenty! She’s too used to having the run of the household for me to get another.
Isn’t that because the gene coding for hair color
is on the x-chromosome,
which is randomly suppressed from one cell to another.
Hence heterochromia in females only
A process not possible in males (only one x-chromosome)
When I met Mrs. RQSR in 1975 she had two dogs and a BIG black cat that loved me instantly. We were married three years later...me and Mrs. RQSR that is, not the cat.
Anyway since that time we’ve had a total of 30 dogs, and only the good lord knows how many cats have come and gone in our lives, but we are currently down to 14 cats here at the ranch that we claim as ours, with at least three or four more that visit on a daily basis from who knows where.
The cats are fun. They are a problem once in awhile, but mostly just get ‘em fixed, feed them the cheapest food you can buy, never give them the good stuff ever, pet them when they tell you they need a hug, and everything is just fine.
Time for someone to drag out the .gif where the cat paws at a guy who’s apparently hung himself and the body slowly, slowly twists in the wind...
whoops I meant to say THREE cats! ah well, that still isn’t many to me....it would be another thing if she had a houseful of them. Good test for bringing a date around!
I can't say for sure...but I've heard it said that domestic cats generally confine their travels to a 4-acre square area from their home...
aka unemployed
Yes, you are right. Danger is another reason.
My daughter used to travel a lot and has a lot of interesting stories. One time she boarded the plane and sat down next to a lady who was nursing her baby, a blanket covering the baby for modesty. She was friendly enough and my daughter carried on a conversation with her until the nursing was done and the lady removed the blanket to reveal that her ‘baby’ was a cat.
Ahhhhh
That is so cool.
Oh, what a lovely pic ... yes, even bad boys love kitties! lOL!
My late lamented little Georgina looked just like the cat in tha photo. Sure do miss that little fuzzball. Best cat ever. She would ride on my shoulder for hours and just purr. (And occasionally drool.)
I got one at a place called ArchieMcPhee for a close relative who is a crazy cat lady. Fortunately she has a sense of humor. They're a little cheaper on Amazon.
OK. It just dawned on me that you meant a real shopping cart. My observation is that crazy cat ladies and bag ladies are two different things. The person I referred to earlier owns their own house and car.
