I stopped buying it a while ago. If you are upset about the apple juice just wait till you read about the chicken 0 now wants to import chicken from China . This is going to really hurt farmers . We are going to end up starving in this country
Why did the chicken cross the road? To get on a ship in China

It is not just here. We were in England six weeks ago. The van driver and I had quite a conversation. We were enroute from Gatway Airport to Dover to catch a cruise. The route was through Kent. He said that the county of Kent used to be the apple orchard for all of England. But the EU set up some rules about import and export of apples which drove the English orchards out of business.
Now the people in England have to have second grade apples from France or none at all.

I was sitting here nibbling on some orange thin mints as I read this thread. I just had to look. Nice little American flag on the back of the box. Under it: “Manufactured by Zachary Confections, Inc. A family owned American company. Frankfort, Ind.” I shall buy more from this “family owned American company.”

This sort of thing just makes niche markets even more viable.

I just checked my Motts Apple Juice also. Nothing anywhere that says the concentrate is from China. Sounds like it’s pretty safe. Made in NY state.

Every year, during crawfish season, we harvest and/or buy several hundred pounds of live mudbugs. We enjoy many crawfish boils throughout the season and any that are left are shelled and the tail meat is vacuum sealed and frozen so that we can have crawfish dishes the remainder of the year. We can buy huge purged crawfish live for $1.25 a pound. I consider it one of the blessings of living in Louisiana.

I have often said that the fellow who sets up a local butcher shop or bakery or green grocery next to a Walmart will get rich.

I agree. Nothing like a lot of ‘foot traffic” to increase business. Especially if you deal strictly with “Made in America” products.

Let walmarts low prices drag them in, and let the smell of dissatisfaction mixing with the smell of fresh bread draw them next door.

Apple Juice?
Why don't you just buy apples? You can get a great American made juicer and make ultra-fresh juice yourself.
Just google "American-made juicer" and have a look.
What more could you want? American made apples, American made juicer, and juice made by an American...you.

The BIG BEER company are making better varietys of beer now because Micro brewers were getting as much as 10% of the market, and the big guys feel the threat.
Quality always sells. You just gotta rub folks nose in it.
