Are you looking at browsers or search engines? For search engines, I have been using Bing instead of Google and am very happy with it.

For browsers, Firefox and Opera allow the most customization and security.

I use firefox. It took me a little while to adjust from ex, but now I love it.

If you don't like Google's Chrome browser, start using Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari, Konqueror, etc.

If you don't like the Google search engine, try Yahoo or Bing.

Google isn’t a browser. It’s a search engine. I use Dogpile instead. It’s a metasearch engine (calls a host of others then collects the results and sifts them).

I use Firefox as my browser. Anything but the execrable Internet Explorer.

ixquick.com is a good search engine that stresses user privacy.

Sorry everyone, I actually meant Search Engines.

But I may try some of the browers listed also.

Thanks,

startpage.com doesn’t track your ip. Google works great but I hate that they keep track of everything. Startpage doesn’t always work as quickly as google but perhaps that will change.

Google isn't a web browser, it's a search engine.

Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera are browsers.

If you want alternative search engines, try: Ask.com, Bing.com, Yahoo.com or AltaVista.com

Also, try this: A Top 100 search engine list

Ixquick also does not store your IP address.

I find it works well.

I also find that I can not in good conscience put money in the pocket of Google’s owners considering their Leftist politics.

I never use any Google product (at least not knowingly)

Google isn’t a browser. It’s a search engine.

That's why I asked the clarifying question what he meant, was he talking about Google's chrome browser or looking for a search client.

Its both.

No, it's not.

Just as "Microsoft" is not a browser and "Internet Explorer" is.
