Absolutely extraordinary. Watched FB on DVD just last night. Amazing how well it holds up on every level.
There was FB, then there was like NOTHING for twenty years; then there was Alien, Star Wars, and some other visionary cinema once again.

I do that with my forefinger and thumb (make my forefinger make a pinhole) when I don't have my reading glasses with me and need to read a small amount of fine print. Works.

I completely agree. Forbidden planet set the standard for many years. Also Robby the Robot appeared in several other shows.
