People like the squeaky Levin are true conservatives except for when it counts.

What did he have to say about Mitt's government run heath disaster? Oh yeh, NOTHING. Charley Gibson is more aware of whats going on than these guys.

“She’s been a successful Governor. “

Come on, she didn’t even finish one term. I had a problem with romney, that he only had one term and didn’t bother facing re-election (probably because he knew he couldn’t win). But even that is more than Palin. It’s a big problem for her.

...why would you post a nearly two year old article about a true conservative, Mark Levin, who sees a phony conservative, Mittens Romney, as the only way to keep a lunatic, John McCain, from becoming the republican nominee for president in 2008?

Thank you for posting that because it helps give reasonable justification for Levin's "support" (such as it was) for Romney. I really had forgotten that McCain was/is indeed a hope and a scream away from going off the rails. I voted for the ticket because I fully figured odds were high that McCain would pull a Captain Queeg in office before his first two years and Palin would fill the seat.

And so it might have happened if ACORN hadn't ginned enough votes, and the MSM ginned a big enough illusion of Obama's mythical popularity for America to leave the vote fraud unquestioned, to put Obama in place.

Liberals have to cheat to win because if they didn't, not enough people would vote for their candidates to put them in office. We are the majority, but the MSM has us all believing we're not. The MSM didn't put Obama in office; ACORN did, and the MSM was an accessory.

I am absolutely appalled at the conservatives who supported Romney. The romney supporters were jumping up and down as if he was the conservative Obamamessiah. I can understand why rino’s would go for him but conservatives?

Beck didn’t seem to care that much for Mitt last year and he didn’t like Huckabee, either, as I recall.

Her son is in the military and as any military parent she is rightly concerned about the mess Obama is making in Afghanistan... it is beyond shallow to worry about who else signed on the letter because her reason is clear...

You are bound and determined to see Obama re-elected in 2012... amazing!

The conservatives who supported Romney were like the teachers, old ladies, and parents in Leave it to Beaver who thought Eddie Haskell was a Nice Young Man: suckers and rubes.

It's why I like Palin and I think probably why a lot of Haskell-wise Americans like Palin -- they sense that she is the opposite of Eddie Haskell. Not finishing her Alaska term as Governor was smart and sensible, and only dumb people -- like those conservatives who fell for Romney -- don't recognize it. Sorry, ari, but as Rush says, it is what it is.

And he, Beck, “may” have voted for Hillary.

You need to review the facts which will make you understand why she resigned.Lawyers were dogging her out making it very expensive to defend against.Gee,I wonder who put them up to that?Mittens would be my bet.

Nobody’s perfect.

In 2008 I would have supported Romney had he bothered to stay in the race. My first preference was Hunter, followed by Thompson, followed by Romney. Whatever it takes to stop McCain, I said.

And in the end, despite everything I said for two years, that I would never vote for McCain whatever happened, in the end I voted McCain. I feel really bad about it, but Palin made me feel like I hadn’t completely sold out.

Would I ever vote for Romney again? Well, hard to say, I said I wouldn’t vote for McCain and I did.

But I am saying this; I’m not voting for anyone who isn’t in the fight now. If a guy is sunning himself and fine tuning his nuances expecting to swoop in and be our hero in 2011, forget it. Palin’s in the fight; Cheney too. Joe Wilson just signed on and a very short list of others like Beck and Limbaugh who aren’t even politicians. Condoleeza just stepped up today, I notice. Almost all the active politicians are laying low, though, staying under the radar, waiting to see which way the battle goes before picking a side. Romney is one of those. I have no use for any of them.

If you’re not in the fight in 2009, don’t call me in 2011.

As for Levin and Beck, I love’em both. They don’t have to agree on everything. Division of labor, I think its called.

Your posts are so stupid they're mindblowing.

Pray tell, what exactly was "stupid" about post 38?

You don't deserve respectful discourse. You don't deserve civility.

Look, I can't remember a single post of yours to me that didn't involve intense vitriol and name-calling, simply because I refuse to get in line behind the GOP like some dumb, indoctrinated sheep.

You're a fake

What's so fake about actually using one's brain?

Or is that something that you GOP/RNC shills aren't trained to do?

and an anti-GOP troll...a college student! LOL!

Who said that FR was a GOP mouthpiece?

I dare you to point out one comment of mine that does not reflect a conservative, small-l libertarian line of thinking and argument.

I dare you.

Her son is in the military and as any military parent she is rightly concerned about the mess Obama is making in Afghanistan...

That's no excuse for signing on to a letter drafted by statists, particularly Bush and McCain folks.

it is beyond shallow to worry about who else signed on the letter because her reason is clear...

Is there something wrong with vetting potential conservative candidates for 2012 before the election?

Or am I just supposed to shut up and stop asking questions?

You are bound and determined to see Obama re-elected in 2012... amazing!

That's a mighty big leap right there, AC.

Where exactly did I say I wanted to elect Obama?

Where exactly did I say that I would vote for Obama, or that I would attempt to influence the people around me to vote for Obama?

In 2012, I will not vote for the bastard--that is, if he makes it to 2012 without being impeached or removed from office--, nor will I campaign for him or convince others to vote for him.

However, that doesn't mean that I will automatically line up behind the Republican candidate like some mindless, indoctrinated sheep, particularly if said candidate happens to be a RINO or a lover of Big Government. And you know why? Because last time I just "got in line," I voted for Bush...and you know exactly how that stinking RINO turned out.

Lining up behind Rabs: Yeah! I DOUBLE-DOG dare you!

Romney supporters -- such poor sports at losing that they call Republican or conservatives who actively disparage their guy "anti GOP trolls."

YET ANOTHER example of how the behavior of Romney supporters speaks volumes about Romney.

I'm so glad he lost. As bad as they are in losing, the Romney elites would be even worse in victory -- preening, bossy, chortling squits.
