Agree. Bill doesn’t seem to realize that a big part of his ratings are due his being the first “talk” show host on after 2 news oriented shows ( minus the commentary on the 6 pm panel).
O’Reilly is like one foot in old media and one foot at Fox.

Much of his show tonight was about race and his trying to be everything to everybody.

Using this type of math means that Bill’s show has about 75,000 viewers per night. I can just imagine his outrage if his ratings were computed this way.

He was very strange tonight, seemed to concentrate on the negatives from the rally rather than the positives and totall down-played the count, saying he used the fire department number... all-in-all, I go the impression the attention Beck is getting may be getting under BOR’s skin.
I had the same thought and this afternoon Maryann Marsh seemed to be pimping for Obama to repeat the “one” successful interview he did on Fox pre-election.. I think BOR is setting us up.
If O'Reilly needs a new word, he has been behaving "panglossian" in his approach to all things Obama.

Uh, I don’t know about that; remember she bombed in the same time slot Beck is exploding in... if anything Beck should be in that time slot, but BOR isn’t moving as long as he keep breathing.
Britt Hume is the greatest. I have never seen him pull any punches.
I check O'Reilly only to see if Laura is subbing. If it's Bill, I switch the channel.

I emailed Fox last night, citing this and the disdain that O’Reilly has for non-liberal people. He is the reason that I’m watching old movies and reruns at this hour instead of Fox News. He is trying to hard to be “balanced” that he doesn’t see how far he’s drifted to the statist left.

While most have backed off of the 1.5 or 1.2 million estimates they still agree that it probably exceeded a half million.
FreedomWorks, the main organizers of the Tea Party event in Washington this past weekend, has dramatically lowered its estimate for the size of the crowd at the event from 1.5 million, a number the group now concedes was a mistake, to between 600,000 and 800,000 people — though this is still substantially more than the tens of thousands that most mainstream media outlets have estimated, and which FreedomWorks wholeheartedly rejects.
The politically charged issue of crowd size is complicated by the fact that there is no official estimate — not from the Park Service, not from the D.C. Police, nor the Fire Department, etc. In fact, a Fire Department spokesman that I talked to told me that whoever had given a figure of 60,000-70,000 to ABC News had not been authorized to do so.
If O’Reilly is unaware of these more reliable reports, then he and his staff are either lazy or incompetent. Shame!
