from the sub-head:
"Tens of Thousands Protest Obama Initiatives and Government Spending."Well, THERE'S THE PROBLEM! They don't know how to count. They see upwards of 1 million and call it 10 or 20K. No wonder they overspend.

I believe that “tens of thousands” of folks showing up for this is impressive.
However, some reports reflect that 1 to 2 million people were there. Fox consistently reports it at “tens of thousands”.
WHY is Fox lying about this figure?

I can tell you...if the MSM reported hundreds of thousands it would grossly underestimate the number. I was there, and there were at LEAST 1.5 million people. Screw the media.

I though Fox would show more coverage of actual footage.

Beck’s coverage disappointed. He should have emceed it rather than lecture. Realize he was trying to draw in Democrats but stressing repeatedly “this is not a GOP vs Democrat issue” was like chalk on a blackboard. Find some Democrats who support the Tea party and interview them if you want to make that claim, Glen.
I turned to C-Span.
To: Brugmansian
I hope Glenn shows more of the pictures This week. Druge Report has an article today with some great pictures. Very impressive.
(of course it is from the UK)

At the Chicago tea party rally in April I spoke to many
many disgusted people who were democrats and had voted
for Obama. Many speakers in DC yesterday stressed that
this is not a GOP v Democrat fight, but a pro- constitutional and pro-conservative fight. I agree.

Probably a large percentage of the GOP consists of former Democrats. I'm delighted to have current Democrats at the Tea Parties. But if Beck wishes to claim this is not between the GOP and Democrats, let him interview Democratic politicians and party leaders who support the rallies.
To: Brugmansian
I agree...air some of the disgruntled democrats.

They’re scared. The elected Democrats of the money Soros and others will use to knock them out of the next primary; the rank and file from the Tim Gill crazies who will try to get them fired from their jobs and harass them in other ways.

"
WHY is Fox lying about this figure?" Because Rupert Murdoch has always been in the tank for socialism.
