If only conservatives had ever thought of finding actors to mimic and mock and create damaging parallel images of liberal candidates during elections, we could be collecting all of this Hollywood adulation and awards.
We can try this next election with an Obama look alike, the media will adore us, the laughter will be raucous and the awards will rain down upon us.

His only role is to represent Obama in skits.
Tina Fey was hired to represent Governor Palin as a real life duplicate, except to follow a script that was just a little off, that used Governor Palin’s talking points and biography in just a slightly off center way to create a duplicate that the main stream media could use to misrepresent Sarah Palin herself.
Tina Fey’s job in the media is to destroy Sarah Palin.

Of course, mimicking liberal pols is rather pointless when you consider they’re already parodies of themselves.

The media will only adore us, laugther raucously and rain awards if it serves the leftist cause, mocking Conservatives. Anything else is racism and hate.

Far too much credit being given to Tina Fey. The amt of damage her impersonation/mocking of Sarah Palin has done is much overstated. Despite Fey, Mrs. Palin is more popular than ever and continues to grow and to be even more accepted and admired by Americans.
Fey merits at least one commendation for being truthful when she stated that Mrs. Palin was much more prettier than herself.

"awards"
You bring up an interesting point. It's practically impossible for anyone with a conservative point of view to win a so-called prestigious award. That makes every award given in the past forty to fifty years suspect. Now whenever I read about some writer winning a Pulitzer or some other award, I always check their politics. Ditto for Nobel Peace Prizes winners. What we have, as you stated, is libs giving other libs awards for being liberals.

Well you have to give credit to Hitler for one thing, he at least served his Country in World War I, was gassed by the enemy, although he never rose above the rank of Corporal.
As for der 0fuehrer?
All he’s produced is GAS.

Hey Tina, who paid for that out of state college degree you hold, could that be your hard working Republican parents?????

The amt of damage her impersonation/mocking of Sarah Palin has done is much overstated. Despite Fey, Mrs. Palin is more popular than ever and continues to grow and to be even more accepted and admired by Americans. Remember last Hallowe'en? There were costumes of the candidates (but none for BO, I remember). There were costumes for McCain and Sarah Palin. I read somewhere at the time it was because these candidates were held in great affection by people and the costumes were a way of displaying support (no BO costumes, again, interesting!). There was a wonderful video clip of a little girl dressed up as Sarah Palin.
Interviewer: Mrs. Palin, are you ready to be Vice President?
Little girl: You betcha!
Right now in my area, the seasonal Hallowe'en costume stores are setting up shop. When one is open for business, I'll check out the costumes available and see which former and future candidates are still on display (or not).
