I watched PBS where it was described by Mark Shields as "Obama's best speech of his presidency". Brooks - the conservative - didn't disagree.

Personally, I legitimately thought Obama was off his game, particularly in the first half of the speech. All-in-all, I though it was a substandard performance, not likely to sway anyone.

No bet. But somewhere about 8:38 pm he lost the ball game. That was when he began to describe how healthy individuals who are willing to pay their own way are "Irresponsible" and need to "chip in" to help pay for drug addicts and AIDS infested homosexuals (who, apparently, are not irresponsible).

Yesterday's speech he preached personal responsibility to the school children. What a difference a day makes!
