This is why the GOP is the way it is. Too many gutless cowards there who love crossing that aisle and being butt buddies with the Dems. Absolutely disgusting, they will throw Sarah under the bus for wanting to HELP them but will embrace liberal Dems who want to destroy this country. I posted this on Sarah’s facebook page, I hope she sees it, but she is probably aware of what Saxby said. First he adored her, now he says she is wrong. What a schmuck!

Well you could be correct, but I am not so sure he was being gutless... I think what I was reading adds up to 'fear', of a 'family' in a sort of way. That word 'legislation' does not exactly fit in what a reasonable person would use first in describing a 'family'. And after all the Senate Finance committee did tell us they removed the 'death panel'. So it is like it did not happen, 'you know' in a family way.

I just sent him a response, telling him that if he wants to honor his kennedy friend, he should do the following since this was what Kennedy believed in:
- Be loyal to your state and party. Kennedy would never betray his party like some stupid GOPs
- the primary family in his life outside of wife and kids should be his party that supported him, not a murderer!

There is a Chinese proverb, “save a dog, it will be loyal to you for life, save a human and he/she might betray you.”

Well, he certainly betrayed Palin!

“The Senate is a family,” said Chambliss. “We are all good friends within the Senate,”

There’s the problem right there.

Hey Chambliss,

Keep your laws off my BODY!

“The Senate is a family,” said Chambliss. “We are all good friends within the Senate,”

So no hard feelings about the Democrats in the Senate recruiting and supporting Jim Martin, a serious challenger, against you for Senate in 2008. Heck NO? That's what the good ol boys do...

But Sarah Palin that campaigned for you, and because she did you were able to raise tons of money from outside the state, she gets thrown under the bus for making truthful, documented and collaborated statements about death panels. AND by the way you moron, she used that term figuratively, not literally.

****I don’t live in Georgia, but I will be emailing him and calling his office tomorrow. He should be ASHAMED OF HIMSELF, but odds are that he is not. Most RINOS have no shame whatsoever! She got him elected, he won by 15+ points because of her. I emailed friends of mine who live in Georgia to vote for him because Sarah supported him and this is the thanks she gets..unbelievable****

I sent him an e-mail about this and today he responded. He basically just disagrees with describing the end of life provisions as death panals. ****I have great respect for Sarah Palin but I do not agree with her characterization that H.R. 3200, "America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009," the health care bill in the House of Representatives, establishes "death panels." That being said, I am opposed to a government run option for health insurance and opposed to the language in the bill that references end of life counseling and what others have come to describe as "death panels."****
