That hate group map is innacurate. Texas has only 66? They way the dimrat media talks about Texas, there ought to be hundreds. Oh, and their number for Alaska is wrong. Should be 1. The Palin family. sarc.

Is there, from the other side of the coin, a list of subversive anti-american communist front organizations.

That list would include the southern poverty law center.

Thanks. I spend as little time listening to/reading at the SPLC as possible, especially after their song and dance in the wake of Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Now, I feel somehow deprived. Maybe he just included anyone who did not vote Democrat with a North Dakota Driver's license and lumped them all into a 'right-winged militia hate group'.

Other than normally occurring illnesses, I can’t think of anything. Since you have a retreat, away from population centers, fallout radiation is the only relatively long-lasting, widespread, airborne threat and most of that is only for 48 hours or so. KI (130mgs every 24 hours for adults) protects by saturating the thyroid with “safe” iodine and, therefore, preventing the absorption of killer radioactive iodine. Biological and chemical agents, while being potentially catastrophic problems, tend to have very localized impacts. Staying away from high impact targets such as population centers is really the best medicine. Safe water supplies (such as a well or subterranean cistern) are obviously the next most crucial need followed by food and protection (GUNS).
