I think I have a Holy Grail in my kitchen cabinet. I wonder what it’d bring on ebay.

And you use rubbers AFTER you make a mistake (erase pencil scribblings).

I think they’ve also been used to describe rain boots.

Yeah, that Pope was, I believe, the first of the Avignon French Popes and the one before him was beat up so bad by Philip the Fair’s thugs he died.
The late Medieval Papacy was a blueprint for how NOT to run a church.

Wow -- didn't realize that "rubber" has so many connotations. rubber could mean:
it could also mean automobile tires or for the "homies" - it could also mean street basket-ball match.

omigod! They’ve discovered the lid of the box that was carrying the Holy Grail!
That must mean it fell out on the road somewhere in England as it was being moved by the Templars.
I can smell a new best-seller from a mile away.

Thanks for posting the pic, and I agree - it looks Byzantine, or, as suggested in the article, Russian.
Maybe they are pushing a Templar connection in order to gin up interest in the sale.

Templars did not muck about...
It looks Eastern Orthodox or Armenian Orthodox. *snicker*
I'm sure (FReeper) paulycy @ #30..the official inquisitors; can verify (the worthiness of) those antiquities, I expect. :)
