I, personally am a proponent of civil war because it appears to be the only way for regular, middle class, law-abiding folk to reclaim the reigns of power in this country at a time when they are rapidly being disenfranchised. Was your military service in the ground forces or was it in naval or aviation?
I got a freepmail from you but I am not a fan of freepmail and surely not for normal threads, what is in it?

I think everyone has been where you are at one time or another...I haven’t watched network news since 1985 (when my husband and I moved out of the subs and into the country) Even have to take a break from Rush from time to time...Walk you dog if you have one, cut the grass, turn off the computer unless your playing a game. Make a batch of fudge and know that not much has really changed in the world...from a prospective of a couple of thousand years..Laugh at jackass politicians and know they will soon be dead and all that power will mean nothing..If possible walk in the woods and listen to the birds or just let the quiet seep down into your soul....Good luck

I sincerely hope you'll come back after a break. I've always enjoyed your posts.
Take care and may God bless.
You will be missed.

"We live, in fact, in a world starved for solitude, silence, and private: and therefore starved for meditation and true friendship ..... When humans should have become as perfect in voluntary obedience as the inanimate creation is in its lifeless obedience, then they will put on its glory, or rather that greater glory of which Nature is only the first sketch."
C. S. Lewis - "The Weight of Glory"
This thought may or may not be in concert with your thoughts and intentions, but I know it has given me much perspective and inner peace.
