It was a one time tax on a random customer and he now has to pay for EVERYTHING.

Good news is we are no longer in debt anymore.

How did you ever get the impression that I have a hatred towards people that make $14/hr? It’s just a stupid number I picked. If you like, change it to whatever amount/hr you want.

Yes

argument: a fact or assertion offered as evidence that something is true.

Your post is an argument and, I was describe the evidence of what is sadly true: that even people how make $14/hr these days seem to have a total lack of pride in the task(s) their job requires.

Not saying that *you* tolerate this, by the way, just mocking that we have to even acknowledge this laziness exists in the American worker.

I remember making $2/hr and I still had pride in my job. And, I make (thankfully) much more than that now, but I’m pretty sure that came to pass because of having pride in my job/work.

I said maybe, never offered as evidence that something was true.

I travel a lot, believe me, it isn’t just America. Although, in rural Japan and outside of Tokyo or Osaka, I haven’t seen it, even in 7-11s.

Not just you specifically but all the people who pick a number and basically say "anyone who makes only this much is not a good person","if he wasn't lazy/stupid/unwilling to move, etc. this person could be making $25 or $30 an hour".

I've read similar comments in many Free Republic threads that heap scorn on the millions who WORK but earn less than the poster.

Maybe because you’re a bank employee making $14/hr, and don’t really care?

I've also had the experience of dealing with those who because they make a high salary ,can't be bothered by doing the mundane tasks ,even when there is no one else to do those things.

My case in point:hospitals which laid off all nurse's aides only to find the registered nurses indignant and reluctant to provide the most basic nursing care because"I didn't get a degree to empty bedpans!"

I don't know any such thing. Here's your original post:

Maybe because you’re a bank employee making $14/hr, and don’t really care?

I'd say your disdain for lower paid workers is clear. If all you want to say is the bank employee doesn't care there is no need to cite the salary.

If I am a banker and I see a 23 Quadrillion dollar charge, why am I not doing anything to fix my bloody internal systems that even allowed it.

You don't know the half of it. BofA is steeped deeply in the whole Six Sigma process control, blah, blah, blah stuff. The fact that they can print such a large number and nobody got an internal warning??? I wonder if it showed up as a Receivable, or at least as a receivable suspense account... I bet several accounting folks were hunting that down.
