And I am back in God's Country, and have been for 5 years now.... we visit Lubbock several times each year. Our daughter is there - and the town has changed drastically over the past 10 years. If you haven't been there, you might not be able to find any old landmarks. I lived there for 6 years in the late 70s and early 80s and I think almost every apartment I lived in is gone.... they completely wiped out the entire neighborhood just east of campus and it is now really nice apartments and beautiful homes and condos. Really a huge change.
And I can say I have eaten at Spankys and it is incredible!
And I may not be able to find good bbq in Houston, but Tex-Mex we've got.....
Are you so old you remember Fat Dawgs on 4th? lol gone now.... they have widened 4th - an elevated freeway (and for some stupid reason an underground section that is sure to flood) at the intersection of 4th and Brownfield Highway, now called the Marsha Sharp Freeway.....
Self defense?
Zero tolerance is unfortunately an impediment.
