How is your dog this morning?
He’s doing much better. He’s not in pain, but he seems definitely “sick” of the whole situation. He’s drinking a lot and barely eating. He is walking out side just fine now on his own, even thought there is a definite tilt to his walk. He looks up at me with his head tilted to the side. The vet said this is common, but like his current condition, it will clear up. Jake has an appointment Monday morning.
Jake still coming along? Glad to hear he’s progressing well as of yesterday.
Got a pic of the ol’ fella? I have a soft spot for good old dogs, especially Labs.
Missed this reply before I sent mine.
If he continues to avoid food, you might consider rubbing Karo syrup or similar on his gums to forestall hypoglycemia and the possibility of seizure.
He’ll begin eating better once he’s not experiencing so much nausea.
How did you determine the amount of dramamine to administer? I knew it would be helpful, but didn’t want to dispense veterinary advice by recommending it myself. I figured you’d encounter it via web search.
