I had never heard of Elevation Burger, I’ll have to check them out the next time I’m in northern Virginia. I was shocked at how quickly Five Guys went downhill, plus I am a firm believer that any real burger place MUST sell shakes.
That is what we in West TX call a Class 3 gut grenade, barely beating out the Alsup’s fried bean burrito’s that’s been sitting under the red light’s for the last 3 day’s.
That sick photo is from a burger joint called Lunchbox Laboratory in (too bad for us) Seattle. I wish it was in my own area.
Lots more photos here:

If you have a Cook-out restaurant near you, give them a try. (They are based in North Carolina) We have one in the next town over, and make special trips just to eat there. Their shakes and burger are the best!
A little info..http://raleighdurham.about.com/od/diningandnightlife/gr/cookout-review.htm
I’ll have to give that a try, I’m down in NC every few months.
Yum, I need one!
There’s a reason that In-and-Out hasn’t expanded. It was explained to me by a friend who’s from SoCal and misses I-n-O terribly.
You see, they only use FRESH beef, never frozen, and they’re very pick about the beef they use. They’ll supply the restaurants from their own warehouse, and it has to be able to get the beef (and other stuff, presumably) to each store fresh daily.
It’s highly unlikely you’ll ever see an I-n-O outside of the southwestern US (They have stores in CA, NV, AZ, & UT).
They’re website explains it better...http://www.in-n-out.com
