Would not be close, IMHO. Wolverine has short limbs and fights relatively flat and low to the ground. Not much of a target for the mouth of the dog. The Wolverine has a thick hide. If the dog strikes past the wolverine biting defense and latches on, the wolverine has 4 very powerful claws - heavy ones - not kitty claws. The whole body of the dog will be exposed to havoc.

Cracking youse up is the least I can do in thanks for your service.....
There are several videos on youtube showing wolverines running off bears and wolves. Appears that no one wants to seriously challenge the wolverine.
There is a video of a wolverine driving off two wolves from their kill. When one of the wolves comes back for a quick sneak attack, the wolverine quickly brings its claws into play. The wolf got out of the way pronto.
There is one video of a wolverine fighting a wolf. The wolverine is getting the better of it and it seems clear that the wolf is trying to break off the fight but the wolverine won't let go. It shows the wolverine could have been featured in my father's saying: "it is easier to catch a bobcat than it is to let go of it."
