I’m a 61 year old female and I’ve never had my ears pierced. Not because I’m afraid of the piercing procedure itself, but I just can’t bring myself to stick things in holes in my ears. And I’ve seen some women who have had their ears pierced for many years, and their earlobes are drooping and misshapen from so many years of wearing heavy earrings.
I’ve had six surgeries that left scars and four that didn’t plus a number of injuries that left scars and embedded metal, etc. I can make it through most metal detectors without setting them off depending on their settings. If I do have to get hand-wanded, it often goes off at odd places.
“Sir, why is the wand detecting metal on the left side of your face and right shoulder?” “Because I’ve got pieces of a helicopter in there.”
That's an issue with the ink breaking down and shifting. The technology has advanced quite a lot since your husband got his tattoo (and, odds are, the standards of the tattoo shop where he got his were a lot lower than they are today).
One of the upsides of tattoos becoming mainstream is that there is a lot more demand, and therefore supply, for quality tattoos performed in a hygenic and safe environment by well-trained and skilled professionals. I've seen some amazing tattoos that are fit to be framed as artwork.
I got mine done in a shop in Georgetown, here in DC. The cleanliness and professionalism rivaled my doctor's office.
Tie her tubes—this skank can’t be allowed to reproduce.
I don’t get it either. Do they really think it’s attractive? Repulsive & just plain ugly!
Nice! You are so accommodating. :)
My husband got one or maybe both of his in Baltimore when he was stationed there in the USCG. I tell him(a non drinker) that they are proof that he has been drunk at least twice in his life.
I wonder how many men when seeing a pretty lady are even more excited when they see tattoos? I guess there are perhaps a few....stranger things happen.
Now on the other hand, how many men when seeing a pretty lady get turned off when they discover a tattoo on them. Pretty damned often I'm betting.
LOL. Odds are, you're right.
These days, though, a reputable tattoo shop won't ink you if you've been drinking.
I got one when my son was born and plan to get one for every child we have.
Which way does your water swirl down the drain effect?
left is right and right is wrong
Whenever I see someone with a tattoo, I know that he has been drunk at least one time in his life.
no problem.
my wife took my 3 month daughter to Mexico and came back and my daughter’s ears were pierced. Can I sue my wife for this?
Well, there goes her career as an investment banker.
You have bits of metal in your face? Jeez
Left is right, right is wrong ...
Am I on Earth anymore?
