Maybe you are not a good listener as I notice you have not responded to a single poster who is trying to help you.
It’s just been the latest in a long string of disappointments.
We have a saying around our family, “Where there’s life,
there’s disappointments and problems.”
It can sometimes seem overwhelming to any of us.
I can only tell you what I’ve learned to do, which
may not be a good fit for you...
I acknowledge why I am hurt, disappointed, discouraged,
what is a setback, what is a loss, etc. I then allow myself
to grieve for a limited amount of time. I set a deadline.
Afterwards, I ask myself what new thing is now possible
because of the loss, the setback or the disappointment.
I like this quote and I’ve seen it to be true in my
experience...
“Within every adversity is an equal or greater opportunity.”
- Napoleon Hill
I ask what opportunity is now possible. Often it is a signifcant one.
Good luck,
ampu
PS - I should have said this first, but I pray about everything - bringing it to God.
