Oh well, hopefully she’ll spend the rest of her life behind bars, and her poor daughter will recover and end up someplace where she’s loved.

The reporter is apparently clueless. The mom placed the feces in the “feeding tube”, yet this “feeding tube” has a “direct link” to the child’s bloodstream.
Most likely, it’s a central IV line that is used for TPN (feeding via IV).
I saw this about 15 years ago, when a mother was injecting water from the fish tank into her daughter’s central IV line. The child developed overwhelming sepsis and died.

Bail for McDonald has been set at $100,000. She faces up to life in prison if convicted. There should be NO bail and she should be sentenced to jail for life and fed feces for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Anything else that the jail would feed her is to good.
