I’ve had a texting cell phone for years. Never once used the text feature, not even to respond to someone texting me. So the chances of me owning a blackberry or Ipod or whatever else the conjure up is slim to none.

It's something that's hot mainly because it's free. As soon as they start charging, or have so many ads that you cannot reasonably get to content (like following other people's boring lives is "content") it will begin to die.
