I have over a million frequent flyer miles... I always wondered about this very thing: What if I had the screamers and couldn’t wait? What would they do to me if I made a run for the head? Would they arrest me? I think the airlines just need to put a seat belt in there to comply with federal regulations in case they have another shituation like this!

I sympathize with the flight attendants as they have to deal with all sorts of jerks every day.
This man, however, had a real intestinal emergency and was barred from using any lavatory.
I have personally witnessed flight attendants looking the other way, allowing coach passengers use of the first class lavatory.
This man clearly did not appeal to the flight attendants sense of humanity because he was probably irate from the get-go.

I think the stewardess should have been arrested for unlawful restraint...and forced to drink prune juice and not be allowed bathroom privileges for 48 hours...

As Steve Martin once said in a movie (while sitting at the dining table), “Daddy? May I be excused?” His Daddy said, “Yes, Son.” Martin’s nutty character just kept sitting there and the guest wondered why he wasn’t getting up to go to the bathroom. Martin kept sitting there and then got a very “relieved” look on his face and dinner proceeded without missing a beat.

Common sense would say that, after the guy had gone to the bathroom and the attenednt found that he actually had an emergency the charges would be dropped.
I guess this attendent doesnt have much common sense, nor has the airline.
