I disagree that it’s much like cigarettes. A slice of bacon can be 45 cals or less, but any level of exposure to tobacco isn’t doing anything good for you. And before anyone responds, I used to smoke, and no, I don’t want to take away your cigarettes.

Guilty as charged. In fact, I sometimes make a breakfast sandwich with bacon that is basically health food. About 230 cals, much lower than most commercially available breakfast sandwiches.
