First line in the article:

(p.s. every thing you read from here on is NOT my own)

Last line in the article:

—You are now leaving the funk zone. For recreation, google this guy’s whacky site. He has a disclaimer, “Not a Mental Health Professional.” I think the right has gone from desperate to regrettable.

Man, the libtards are certainly getting some ‘buyers remorse’ pretty fast. They were too stupid to listen to us when we told them this is EXACTLY what we knew he was goig to do.

His own autobiography! Instead of writing a scholarly paper focusing on race relations, for which he had been paid, Obama could not resist writing about his most sublime self. He entitled the book Dreams from My Father. Not surprisingly, Adolph Hitler also wrote his own autobiography when he was still nobody. So did Stalin. For a narcissist no subject is as important as his own self.

And the solution to dumping Obama will be (drum roll please) a CLINTON. Aren't these all (Salon included) Clinton supporters?

Printed in Solon as an example of right wing wackyness:

"Not a Mental Health Professional." I think the right has gone from desperate to regrettable.

desperate to REGRETTABLE? What an odd, and ominous, choice of words.

Obama’s speeches have a carefully (self) orchestrated cadence that resonates with the limbic brain. It’s rhythmic and keeps a kind of beat that is similar in function to popular music.

Well found; a significant aspect of the psycho-ops that is going on behind the front, Barack Obama.

We are NOT dealing here with just Barack Obama (who obviously is not smart enough to construct the sinister agenda).

The depressing thing is how clueless even relatively concerned people are.

[This is in “Salon”?]

Ditto on that question. Unbelievable, and having known som pathological narcissists, I recognize the traits as well. Wait till the spinning head, pea soup spitting tirades begin when all does not go well and fingers are pointed at the true culprit.

[I know all about narcissists. I work with one, and it’s insufferable. These are some sick f^%$s!!]

I have two in my life. When you are around one and finally figure out it is an incurable sickness, it is a real eye opener. Obambi has most of the traits, the need to always be perfect and above everyone else. But when the eggshell cracks, look out.

It is actually from a Hallmark greeting card.

“Barack Obama appears to be a narcissist”

Obamachev - Hugo Chavez.

The more opposition he perceives the more authoritarian he will become. Let’s pile it on

I’m pretty sure that he truly loves his kids.

Does he?

How can we know?

Many child abusers make a great show of be great parents in public and then are negelcetful or abusive when at home alone with the kids.

From what I have read Bing Crosby was this type of parent. Always loving in public but always angry and abusive in private. His children were terrified of him.

Of course you are right - we never *really* know what these media creations are really like. We form inferences that seem based on observations but our “observations” are what pass through the media filter. JFK was a devoted husband in his day. Many folks didn’t know that FDR was wheelchair bound.
OJ was an all around good guy.

So who really knows?

I guess maybe what I’m saying is that 0’s body language around is wife is one thing - very distant, very cold - but the body language that I’ve *seen* around his kids seems to me very different.

But as you say I could be completely wrong.

Why, on earth, did you not post the beginning and ending portions? This is NOT the article on Salon. Salon is ripping this guy’s words, not supporting them.

You have done Free Republic a disservice.

You have done Free Republic a disservice.

You are correct. Very misleading.

Just as people need to read before commenting, they also need to read before starting a thread.

Should be pulled.

“Puuleeeze. He is nothing but a puppet in a suit who can read a teleprompter.”

Unfortunately, what really impacts us is what the narcissist thinks he himself is. It is my feeling that Obama really believes that he is the “Alpha dog” and doesn't see himself as the puppet that he is.

Don't know if you've seen a pathological narcissist in action when they've been thwarted. It is spectacular in a horrifying way.

His “puppeteers” should be very careful to maintain their subservient posturing because if Obama ever thinks that someone is “manipulating” him and shatters his illusions - they are in deep doody. (medical term) :)

Not exactly. The original article by Dr. Sam Vaknin was on his website, but was pulled. Google still shows the listing as does Snopes. I was able to find the article on Salon as posted.

I never said that Salon was supporting this guy’s words.
