For some reason it made me laugh. :-)
However, unlike HPV, polio spread easily during NORMAL human interaction.

Polio was and is spread by fecal contamination. I assume you are saying that eating shit is normal human interaction.
Interesting bit of trivia. when the live polio vaccine became available, priority was given to vaccinating infants, because one dose given to an infant would immunize an entire family. I leave the implications to your fertile imagination.
Polio is also spread by the throat secretions of an infected person.
Polio is a highly contagious illness that can spread easily from person to person. How is polio spread? In most cases, polio is spread through contact with stool from an infected person (for example, eating food that is contaminated with poliovirus). Less commonly, polio transmission occurs through contact with respiratory droplets or saliva.Link
Most polio was contracted from going in the water in the summer.
And I would expect that if someone had a bleeding sore from having sex to often, the doctor would tell them to cut back on the frequency.
That was certainly a feared activity (and if true it would still be fecal contamination, mostly). But the worst summers in the U.S. occurred after public pools were closed.
Polio can be spread by a number of ways. People who have not been immunized against polio or have a weakened immune system may contract polio from individuals who are receiving the oral polio vaccine. In developing nations, the polio virus is spread by eating food or drinking water contaminated by the polio virus. The polio virus may also be contracted through direct contact with infected stool or throat secretions. People are most infectious a few days before and after the onset of symptoms.
There was a street near us that used to flood due to a sewer backup when it rained. All the kids were allowed to play in it but us.
OK, I suppose that the “28 deaths caused by the vaccine” may not be an accurate report, but that’s what was said. I’m guessing that nobody actually died from the actual trial.
The words “safe and effective” were used, and “safe” can only be asserted for the years of the study, we don’t know if there will be long-term effects that will happen outside the range of the study.
The studies show that Gardacil is effective in preventing the 4 types of HPV which will prevent a number of cervical cancer and wart cases. Relative effectiveness is a different measure, but important if you are comparing risk/rewards.
Driving 30 mph is extremely effective at preventing driving deaths, but overall that may not be “effective”. But really, the purpose of my quoted paragraph was to question the assertion that the gardicil/placebo group were undistinguishable regarding side effects.
Someone else said Cervical Cancer was the 5th leading cause of deaths among women. I’m guessing that was incorrect.
Even “good girls” can be raped.
Way to jump in with stuff that hasn’t already been posted.
The simple fact is that 90 percent of common infectious diseases are spread by food servers/handlers who fail to wash their hands, or by people failing to wash before handling their own food or putting their hands in their mouth.
Obviously some of the serious outbreaks of food contamination occur at processing plants that have infestations of vermin, or by incorrectly processing infected animals. But the absolute numbers are small.
We tried to warn people about this on FR when they started trying to force this population control vaccine on young girls. Some people's immune systems go haywire from these and they experience autoimmune reactions or worse. They need to watch for infertility, miscarriages, MS, autoimmune diseases, and strange cancers in those taking the vaccines.
If you got the polio vaccine in the 1950s or '60s or know someone who did, you should know it was contaminated with a cancer-causing monkey virus. They are playing roulette with people's health with these quack vaccines which look more like population control experiments.
So, I’ve tried asking around about this, but nobody seems to know for sure, and since you seem to be a pathologist maybe you’ll know. As a college student, I’ve been bombarded with warnings that HPV can be transmitted by skin-to-skin contact, and can live on areas like the upper thighs or abdomen and not just the genitals, so condoms don’t work. Therefore, the thing I was wondering is can HPV be transmitted while doing everyday activities - say, shaking hands with guy who didn’t wash his hands after using the restroom, or getting a papercut on a paper that someone had been holding in their mouth? And if that’s possible, could the types of HPV transmitted in this way be prevented by the vaccine, or are the four types this vaccine prevents ONLY sexually transmitted?
For the record, while I understand that the risk factor for this vaccine is very low (even if all of these 28 reported deaths are in fact related, that’s still an extremely low risk in my opinion) I’m still holding off on it because I’m not sexually active and not planning to be sexually active for a while (although I’m aware that even marriage could happen sooner than I expect).
Post 132 has the figures.
I enjoy reading your posts also. I hope to meet my online freeper friends some day.
