When I first opened the page she was spinning counter clockwise but when I focused on her legs she spun clockwise. Now I can only get her counter clockwise if I look at her with peripheral vision.

Stare at the photo and see if you can locate the automobile that is hidden somewhere in the picture. Time yourself.
Interestingly, women tend to find the auto faster than men.
What is interesting, realize that if you are sitting at the terminal NO ONE CAN DEMAND you change her direction, only you can do that.
No one controls how you think, but they can suggest things to think on that will modify the way you think. Is this what TV does to us, we start to find this humor acceptable and start to create our own decisions based upon how they fed our brain.
Heck I even saw the wheels spinning.

I see what you mean. It took me about 5 minutes to see the car. My wife saw it right away...
Thinking an emotional thought or two does nothing.
My point is that it is only you that controls the direction of her turning. No one can make a person to perceive a stiuation except the person themselves. When you listen to the media, you start to build tools to perceive what you see. Be careful of what you listen to because it does build the tools for perceiving a reality.
