You might never see them except for significant times like these. Meeting again reminds us that life and memories join with others’ memories.

Loves Prayer
By James Whitcomb Riley
DEAR Lord! kind Lord!
Gracious Lord! I pray
Thou wilt look on all I love,
Tenderly to-day!
Weed their hearts of weariness;
Scatter every care,
Down a wake of angel wings
Winnowing the air.
Bring unto the sorrowing
All release from pain;
Let the lips of laughter
Overflow again;
And with all the needy
O divide, I pray,
This vast treasure of content
That is mine to-day!

Another short, sweet one:
Love - what is love
by Robert Louis Stevenson
To friends at home, the lone, the admired, the lost
The gracious old, the lovely young, to May
The fair, December the beloved,
These from my blue horizon and green isles,
These from this pinnacle of distances I,
The unforgetful, dedicate

Woo Hoo!! We have rain, wonderful, needed rain! LOL! That's cute, Meg. :) We did, too, the phone line I use just for pc must have drowned, cause it was dead last night when I tried to get here and see your Sunday posts. Repairman just left about an hour ago, and I wanted to check the thread and say hello!
LOTS of beauty yesterday from all as well as today, the beginning of "Love Week" at Amy's. :)
Amy and Lori, you started the week off with such a pretty opening, and I'm downloading the song right now.
Jaycee, smiling at your post to Amy and me (as I did when Yorkie did it the other day!) See, Lori, that'll teach you to take a break from making the openings - they just took it for granted it was mine! LOL
