i don’t know, then there’s nothing to look forward to. your next sacrament is matrimony or holy orders, or God forbid, Extreme Unction.

Good point, A for you. Your old player JP Dumont, who has been in a horrific slump since getting hit by Vancouver’s Burrows in December, finally broke free in our game against them last night. He looked like our old JP, not the timid player he was all last month, and scored a beauty of a goal. BTW, Burrows was chirping at Tootoo but as soon as he threw off a glove, Burrows took off in the other direction.

that’s funny, given all those traditionalists you have in your diocese up there, LOL!! i know we have been to Mass in upstate NY and heard those types of changes as well as having laypeople give the homily [you recall that story at the ROCK AND ROLL MASS in rochester]

we are the furthest parish from Rochester that is still in that diocese.....so we tend to be more traditional, thus all the problems when the former priest pulled the kneelers....like THIS was the place to do that, the church sits in a historic district as well.

the traditional congregation would be more likely to make the diff than the historic district. Joe Biden received communion at Holy Trinity in Georgetown, a historic church, last sunday. not at all surprising either.

Your next sacrament is communion every Sunday. That should be the focus.

obviously. but it is kids we are talking about and having a goal at the end of the elementary years makes sense to me, helping to KEEP them focused.

Ecclesiastes 10:2-3

A wise man's heart directs him toward the right, but the foolish man's heart directs him toward the left.

Even when the fool walks along the road, his sense is lacking and he demonstrates to everyone that he is a fool.

I read that the other day and I thought of Joe's litany of foolish remarks....from "stand up Chuck" to dissing the Chief Justice.......I was laughing at that......there is so much wisdom in the Bible.

Yeah, I noted the Preds won last nite. Hopefully, they’ll have a better second half of the season...

Buffalo was at Calgary yesterday and was even @ 2 at the end of the second pd, but got smoked by the Flames in the 3rd losing 5-2. Two more games out west & then back home.
