Kyle: You are such a manipulative asshole, Cartman.
Cartman: Yes, but I'm not going to die.
And remember this episode aired before the ‘Sugar tits’ incident.
“Cartman revealed to Scott Tenorman that he killed Tenorman’s parents and put them on the chili he was eating. Trivia: there were debates among the show runners on whether they had gone too far with this episode. The nays apparently won, as the episode was aired in one piece.”
I’ve never seen the episode in question, but I don’t see as how that would be going too far. Accidental cannabalism is all over Greek mythology, most notably with Tantalus and Atreus. It’s a part of the Western tradition.
Poor JLo.
My heroes!!
They where spot on about Mel Gibson..
My 5 favorite cartman moments:
1) When he had to pay the government his million dollars in taxes, after he had won his million and used it to buy the theme park which he wanted to use for his very own, but then sold it when he made it more popular than ever. Only Cartman could have a wildly successful business and end up broke.
2) Casa Bonita. Never seen a kid have so much fun in 1 minute.
3) Cartman convincing Bill Clinton to surrender so he could win the Civil War, only to watch Kyle and Stan turn the tables.
4) Cartman actually losing the special olympics. He was sure he could win the prize if he pretended to be retarded.
5) Cartman trying to get Kyle to touch his trapper-keeper. “Go ahead, touch it, Kyle”. At least I think it was Kyle, maybe it was Stan. Later we find that Cartman’s trapper-keeper really DID have spikes that would impale unauthorized users.
So many moments, so little time.
The Dog was darn good, the Christmas song about Kyle's Mom, just too much to choose from.
Eric Cartman: best TV character ever created.
Faking Tourrette’s (and going on Dateline to “bust on the Jews”) would have to be up there.
