I liked the new format, with the "judges' save". But do y'all realize that the producers missed a great opportunity to create what would have no doubt been one of the weirdest moments ever for AI?
Suppose that Tatiana had made the final 13, then been in the bottom 2 this week. Can you imagine her up there with Ryan, begging and pleading for the judges to bring her back? They would have neede a stun gun to get her off the stage. Don't forget, the Haley Scarnato fan club meets next Tuesday at 9PM
Me, too. I liked Diana first and Jennifer second. Either one was a 100 times better than Fantazer.
That may be their real hedge, considering how close they came to being stuck with Amanda Overmeyer instead of Kristee Lee Cook last year for that #10 spot.
Tactically, from a "19E" standpoint, the best time to use the "save" would be on the 11-to-10 cutdown, to rescue someone they'd want to have on the tour. Then, the following week (when they will cut two), they'll find some way to simply pick which of the two to leave off the tour.
Do you have an idea how long that show would have been?? We'd still be waiting for them to drag her butt off the stage.

Yep. At least the results show will be great. We know from the past that country doesn’t always work out well for all contestants though.

I’m hoping everyone outshines him by a mile and the judges are forced to use their ‘save’ so early in the game. Or would they? An awful lot of young kids go to these Idol tours and I know a lot of parents that would NOT take their children know Adam would be in the tour.
With CD sales down, I would think AI would want to protect their tour revenues as much as possible. jmo

Like I said/wrote I don’t like adam and I hope he is gone asap too. & I concur re: the negative influence he brings into the mix. & I don’t like his singing voice which runs contrary to liberal/secular opinion/judges it seems.
