Over the many years, I've become so attached to my little old .30-.30 lever action, I can see using that, instead. I like to pick my targets and single pop them. It's relaxing.
The shamwow is about as useless as my Chinese SKS. That huckster is pushing another worthless POS I saw on TV today. I hear you on the lever .30-.30. My most accurate shooter is my WW1 Swedish Mauser in 6.5mm. However, it’s bolt action. Only good when 1 piece of poop is approaching the fan.

I am just amazed at these responses...
I posted to another article relating to this situation. Number one, the kid is not an illegal. Gang activity in this area is horrid. My child started getting harassed by gang affiliated members in 6th grade when we moved here. My child knew the one who was arrested as well as one who was killed.
Your jokes and smart alleck comments do nothing to further your causes. Innocent children’s lives were lost in this. Children are afraid to go to school or even walk around the neighborhoods for fear of retaliation even though they are not in gangs. Not all of the people involved were in gangs. Don’t assume they were.
Instead of focusing on their education, teachers and children are dealing with fear and unruly behavior that isn’t controlled. Kids who are wanting to succeed are getting thrown to the side because nothing is done about the ones who aren’t. Instead of running your mouths and laughing about it try thinking about the innocent lives lost and the families grieving for them.
What “jokes” and “smart-aleck” responses are you talking about? My response was dead serious - we really DID have one Mexican guy kill another one here in the RDU area just a couple of years ago, and it was because they were arguing over whose village back home was better.
Like it or not, it’s their culture. For bad or for worse.
