Unless I am visited by Abraham Lincoln and Ronald Reagan, and they tell me that McCain has changed... I will never support anything that has McCain's name attached to it.
Look John... thank you for your sacrifice in the POW camp, no one can ever say that you weren't brave. But PLEASE!!!! Leave politics alone.

But do be sure to use his prepaid reply envelope to send him back a cement block or something similary heavy -- along with appropriate commentary, of course. Do NOT do this. Malicious misuse of prepaid postage will be prosecuted. I've worked in direct marketing for twenty plus years, and do know what I'm talking about.

A pathetic attempt to regain the slightest glint of credibility. I’m afraid his “grassroots” have been irretrievably plowed under by his pandering to the opposition. From now on “maverick” for me will always be synonimous with “useful idiot”.

“If you get any mail from him with the postage prepaid, fill it up with other junk mail and send it back. McLame will have to pay for the insult.”
Wrap it around a brick.

My friend,
Money won’t solve anything. The tools are already in place.
Tools are more useful than money. Because money can disappear almost overnight, as witnessed by the recent economic downturn.
So I send no money, my old friend. I send a voucher for ammo.

old and crusty has never won in the US. the dems knew this when they jumped party lines to get mccain nominated... clearing the way for hillary (0bama started to grab the reins in dec 2007/jan 2008 when he pushed for protection... long before anyone else in history)
he didn’t fight the dems tooth and nail this fall, so please.... sit down and let others pick up the fight.

The Juan McCain Truth File. "I have great respect for Al Gore." John McCain, October 2, 2008 FR Keywords: mccaintruthfile, mcqueeg, mcbama Please tag all relevant threads with the aforementioned keywords. This can be a very high-volume ping list at times. To join the ping list: FReepmail rabscuttle385 with the subject line add mccaintruthfile. (Stop getting pings by sending the subject line drop mccaintruthfile.) Republican Commissars Warning: By joining this ping list, you may be subjected to the delusional rants and ramblings of McCainiacs, of "moderate" Republicans, of pragmatic conservatives resigned to voting for the lesser of two Democrats, and of countless GOP shills who simply want to meet a new overlord. |

I notice he is using Sarah as cover for this, by mentioning her in the first paragraph.

A pathetic attempt to regain the slightest glint of credibility.
Precisely...At a moment when I am seriously questioning the need for any further involvement with the Pub party- in general, this political sellout makes another bid to drive the GOP further to the Left. Again, Carlyle's account of Cromwell's famous comment comes to mind:
Dear John (LOL)--You have sat too long here for any good you have been doing lately
. Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God,go!

I heard recently form a good insider source of impeccable reputation...for naming horserace winners...the film The Caine Mutiny was going to be renamed The McCain Mutiny.
