I love hummingbirds, too..and am reminded my raccoons did a number on all my feeders and I need to buy new ones soon..along with a hanger that “locks” to the limb..They unhook the hanger and break the feeders as they fall on concrete..

LOL! Maybe if we had deep snow year round it'd bother me. Surely it's frustrating to commute in traffic in snow but roads are well cared for and most are clear and dry.

Snow like ours is a limited time offer, is beautiful and fun. Shoveling is great exercise, too, and even that is pretty.

Oh, Amy, you always have the neatest holiday illustrations - and you always have so MANY holidays it seems. I picked a good day of the week to post the openings - Tuesdays seem generally 'light' in holidays. LOL

I was hungry for popcorn last night and looked on every shelf in the pantry, behind everything that might be hiding Orville Reddenbacher, but alas! I had no popcorn. I do now, and tonight, I will have popcorn while I watch "The Bachelor".

.....About 18" of snow on the ground..... :(

Having never lived anywhere except Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana, I am not sure I could ever get used to the harsh winters the states far north of us see every year. I would yearn to see the real ground - not freezing cold white stuff day in and day out.

But then, all ya'll prolly couldn't tolerate our cold, dry, windy winters, and our hot, dry, windy summers. :)
