That's what D-Con is for.

“That’s what D-Con is for.”
For poisoning people and animals? You know if you put out D-Con, the first thing to eat it will be a lawyer’s kid.
They are. Just wait till this Pit/Mastiff owner finds out that her homeowners won't cover her. It'll be time to sign over her house.
What did you expect? IW’s were bred to kill wolves. Yours probably had no trouble at all taking out two little ankle-biting Dobies. :)
For using in strict accordance with the instructions on the label.

“I dont know about the pit bull part but English Mastiffs are a pretty good breed of dogs. I have known several and they were very gentle.”
I has some friends that bred them. The first time I met their dogs they came up and sniffed my crotch. I ain’t no sissy but that just plain petrified me. After that we were big buddies although you needed a raincoat to keep the slobber off.
Had a new neighbor move in behind me and one lot over. I noticed he had a cat loose in the back yard. I told him that even though we had a cat our dogs would kill any stray cat that came in our yard.
Got the “Yeah, right” look.
Couple of days later I was looking out the window when his cat came around the side of my storage building. The dogs were under the deck and as the cat came into the open the chase was on. Two laps around the yard and the cat flew back over the fence looking like a fuzzy fur ball with my Black & Tan's teeth nipping at his tail.
Have not seen that cat over my fence since.
And for the folks who want to know how the Black & Tan would fare if he caught one? Well he considers them the same as possums - furry chew toys. You can always tell when he got another one. He comes in with slobber and fur all around his smiling mouth and the tail just a waggin’.
Good to know. She deserves to lose her house.
Mean dogs on the loose really piss me off.
Very good advice. I’ve actually thought of the first part (don’t build near border) and have seen the second one (buy adjoining property) first hand.
We let our cat out whenever she asks. She is fixed and not declawed. Keeping them locked inside all day is cruel in my eyes.
No responsible mastiff breeder will mix the mastiff with a pit bull. The breeder for my mastiff requires the dog male or female to be neutered by age 6 months, or they will not release the bill of sale.
Responsible mastiff breeders will not release a mastiff with a bad temperament. The breeder for my mastiff guarantee his temperament for life.
A pit bull should never be bred to a mastiff. Pit bulls must be individually and carefully trained in order not to be species aggressive and in order to have a correct temperament. Too many people who are completely ignorant of large dog training acquire the dogs for all the wrong reasons.
