FR usually has a booth, do they not? Or maybe it is just the DC chapter. Anyway I will register tonight before early bird prices expire tomorrow. I have a feeling it will be the biggest ever. Probably more than the Shoreham hotel can handle. Maybe next year they should have it at the convention center.
I am planning on going. I’ve never been to one before and always wanted to. I registered a few weeks ago, but now it is more important than ever.

Exactly..
As far as I know, FR will NOT be an exhibitor at CPAC. 2006 was the last time FR had a table. Because we were late getting a table, we were put in the garage area, basically away from the other tables. FR was not alone as there were about a dozen other organizations in there.
I did not see Gathering of Eagles, Eagles Up, or Move America Forward on the exhibitors list.
DISCLOSURE: The below statements are true to the best of my knowledge being a relatively new FR member. I have been involved in some of the Chapters CPAC discussions and helped man the table in 2006.
I believe that the D.C. Chapter put up most if not all of the exhibitor’s registration money and we also manned the table. We also spent money on various buttons and handouts. As a Chapter, we do not have the money for the fee and to properly set up a table.
With CPAC being so political, I don’t think JimRob is willing to put up FR money directly donated thru the Quarterly FReepathons, if he has any extra money.
Some Chapter members think spending money on a table is a waste of the Chapter’s scarce money. Our presence didn’t generate any members or much interest.
