Conservatives can spend the rest of their lives believing that this is only a temporary setback that will correct itself in two years, in four years, in six years, in eight years...,but they are not really seeing things exactly like how leftists see things! Leftists will change things so that they have political power forever, because that’s what the left does at each and every turn when given the opportunity to do so!

That's my take on the situation. Obama is no Clinton, who could be suffered through. A liberal Democrat hasn't been elected folks, a Marxist has, and he will exploit every opputunity, if not make them up, to disenfranchise everyone else.

The Left has never been known to keep within boundaries and I imagine they will go hog wild now. A few stalwart Republicans will stand in front and try to stem the stampede - to no avail. By time some of the public wake up and say, "HEY! Wait a minute!" it will be too late.
