There is no God. If there was, there never would have been an election between a socialist hell bent on destroying America and a Rino, hell bent on destroying the REpublican Party.

Or if there is a God, he just made the decision that man kind should go the way of the dinosaur.

God is always in control. And I still can hate Obama. We are to abhor evil. Obama is an evil man. we can pray that he changes, and if he does not, that God removes him. I will pray that he changes, or that God removes him.

I will pray for my family and our military. I will not pray for a man who hates America.

Yes, we can and should pray for Obama, that he comes to a genuine saving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ; that he seek God’s wisdom only and always; that he learn the true meaning of compassion; and that God will remove him from office in favor of a ministry somewhere else. Kenya, perhaps.

You’re absolutely right. My prayers are with him, as scared as I am. But perhaps it’s selfish of me; praying for him makes me feel less afraid.

1 Timothy 2:1-2

Pray for All Men

1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, 2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.

We may not like it but we are commanded by God. If you don't agree you can take it up with Him at a later date.

I will pray for Obama - that God will judge between us, and treat him as he deserves.

If Obama believed in God, he wouldn’t like that prayer...

No I will pray that he is utterly embarassed in November 2012.

Yeah, fine, I’ll pray for Obama, just because I know he’d hate it.

The only prayer I will say for him is that God changes his heart. But to pray for him would be to imply I am praying for his policies and views to become law of this land. And that I will never do. I do not pray harm upon the man. But I will not pray for a man who has made war against the preborn one of his top priorities. God would never forgive me that.

I’m sorry. I know I am supposed to pray for my enemies but I struggle with this all the time. God knows I do.

Here’s the deal. We are supposed to hate evil. I do think Obama is evil and not at all what he pretends to be.

All I can pray is that a miracle changes him (maybe like Saul/Paul) and he rejects all he has embraced throughout his life. I won’t be holding my breath though.

I think the foolish people of this country have bought into the Enemy’s trap. Like others have said, I will not claim him as my president.

While the Bible tells us to render unto Caesar, it does not tell us to become like him. I will spend much time teaching my grandchildren why this man, Barack Hussein Obama, is not to trusted or admired.

I wouldn't say He “did” this to humble us. We establish Man's law which is sometimes counter to God's law.

Look at the murder of 1 million babies a year through abortion in America.

We can pray for His mercy, that we don't get the punishments we deserve for making wrong choices (whether those be personal failings or errors in our choice of leadership).

Barack Obama claimed to be a Christian, although in a 2004 interview, he came off more as a secular humanist. He did not see Jesus to be the only way to salvation. He saw redemption in the different faiths of the world. He finds sin to be whatever goes against his value system. May he have a spiritual awakening as he sits in the leadership role of this great nation, established by men who sought to LIMIT the powers of government, and preserve the personal liberties of men.

I WANT Barack Obama to be spiritually awakened, and not look down on those who “cling to religion”. I want him to be humbled in the realization of something greater than himself or the institutions of man. There is no charity in forced taxation. For you to give to your fellow man in assistance should be a personal decision, one that you come to by free choice.

I pray that we DON'T experience a second “Carter” administration. I pray that Our Father shows us mercy. And if it leads some to be more humble and respectful (as we did in the aftermath of the 9-11), then there is a positive aspect to this election.

God is "using Obama," all right. He's using Obama to punish America for abortion and pornography, not only here but also spreading that dreck around the world.

We wanted power: we'll get weakness. We wanted wealth: we'll get poverty. We wanted comfort: we'll get pain.

Learn Spanish or Chinese or Arabic. Your grandchildren will need it to speak to their masters.

After eight years of the most vicious hate and rhetoric from Democrats and especially the lowball tactics from this George Soros puppet and the vile I’ve put up with from canvassers and others, he and his treasonous party don’t deserve my goodwill, or my prayers.

My tagline says it all.

God has abandoned us. He’s given us up for our depravity and enslavement to evil. We all know what happened to Israel when he gave them up.

Amen. God allows good and bad leaders to rise to accomplish His purposes. Hopefully Obama will be a good leader, although all the evidence to date shows this is unlikely.

Prayers for Obama are right and I pray that God will continue to bless this country through His grace, even as we are deserving of His wrath because of our sins.

Unlike the nutball lefties who hate George W. Bush, I will not hate President Obama. I will vocally oppose any decision of his with which I disagree and I will vote for his opponent.

As for your prayers for his safety — yes, this is paramount. Somewhere out there are evil people who would wish to hurt him and bring terrible strife and shame to our country.

You are probably someone with wisdom, more than me, but I’m not certain that God wants me to pray for someone who supports abortion, partial birth abortion, and as I recall homosexual marriage. I’ll have to think about your suggestion, while my prayers go out for the safety of our troops, those Americans still in the womb and for the safety and security of America, while the new occupant of the White House remains a mystery. Meanwhile,I’ll say some Hail Mary’s for his soul.
